ALLNYC EM FELLOWSHIP in MEDICAL EDUCATION LEADERSHIP
We are excited to offer this fellowship to rising senior residents. The program is designed to provide experience in conference development, networking, and mentorship by the educational leaders in the New York City area. This is a 1-year fellowship and will include $1000 registration reimbursement for the 2026 CORD Academic Assembly in Orlando, Florida!
ALLNYCEM provides two citywide conferences per year. Additionally, we offer two “Medical Student Bootcamps,” an EM chief resident retreat, and various other projects. Fellows in this program will gain experience in the content development, logistics, and finances required to put together these events. Attendance and participation will be expected, and each fellow will have the opportunity to give a lecture at one of the citywide ALLNYCEM conferences. In addition, fellows receiving training in career development and longevity, teaching and curriculum design, and residency program leadership.
Mentorship and networking will be an invaluable part of the fellowship. Fellows will attend meetings with many of the region’s residency leaders throughout the year, will facilitate collaboration amongst the chief residents of ALLNYCEM programs, and will have the opportunity to give an invited lecture to
Wednesday morning conference at an ALLNYC participating program.
Fellows will gain experience that will help prepare them for career in academic Emergency Medicine. We are seeking energetic and bright residents to join our team.
Eligibility Requirements
- Residents graduating in June 2027
- From a program that actively participates in ALLNYCEM events
- Available and committed to attend CORD academic assembly in Orlando, FL March 26th–29th, 2026
- Committed to attend fellowship meetings at 9pm on the second Tuesday of each month (Zoom), and some may be in-person.

- Personal statement (no more than 1 page) answering the following two questions:
1. If selected as a fellow, what novel initiative would you like to develop for the benefit of citywide EM resident education
2. How do you anticipate the ALLNYC EM fellowship would intersect with your interests or career goals?
- Letter of recommendation from your program director or chair with commitment of availability for above dates/meetings
- CV
